Joking about being on the wrong side of a human rights issue is always good for a giggle. Fortunately, as folks have reminded me, Huckabee's a genuinely nice guy. Which is kind of like some of my friends down South, who would remind me that many plantation owners treated their slaves (their human property) kindly and with great dignity.
But why is Huckabee referring to Old Testament law? I thought he was a Christian.
